Our story: A family saga

Les Plantes de Tomine is a French family farm specializing in the cultivation of hemp and CBD, with the Agriculture Biologique label. Located between the Roannais and Beaujolais regions, the farm has been in operation since 1939. Over the decades, it has undergone several evolutions thanks to the various agricultural projects it has developed.

Thomas and Camille: the hemp enthusiasts behind Les Plantes de Tomine

Together, Thomas and Camille grow a variety of aromatic, medicinal and CBD plants. Their love of hemp and their commitment to agriculture are reflected in their daily work.

THOMAS' CROPS (Hemp, wheat, zucchini and peppermint) Thomas is a young agricultural entrepreneur, dreamy, passionate and hard-working all at once. His job demands incredible versatility: he's a salesman, an environmental technician, a human resources manager, a bricklayer, a gardener, a biologist and even a healer. The weather is his real boss, while ladybugs and earthworms are his precious allies in the field. With his overflowing imagination and numerous ideas for development, Thomas ensures a promising future for Plantes de Tomine.

CAMILLE'S CROPS (Verbena, blueberry, raspberry and chamomile) Optimistic and versatile, Camille got into farming out of love for Thomas, but was quickly seduced by the idea of creating something new and beneficial for the community. Her previous experiences have taught her to value a territory and a project, and today she strives to magnify and share the Plantes de Tomine terroir, products and brand. In addition to her duties on the farm, Camille plays a crucial role in the company's strategy, marketing and communications.

CROP AUXILIARIES Around Thomas and Camille, a complete ecosystem supports them: earthworms, ladybugs and pollinators, but also Hubert, at the wheel of the tractor, Joceline, who treats the seasonal workers, as well as Cécilia and Anil, always smiling and devoted. Not forgetting the many seasonal workers and wwoofers who provide invaluable assistance.

Our farm Today, Les Plantes de Tomine is a diversified farm where we grow wellness and CBD hemp, as well as aromatic and medicinal plants used in our products. We also grow vegetables and raise Charolais cows. Certified Organic, our farm makes a point of respecting the environment and biodiversity by excluding all chemical inputs, limiting water use, maintaining buffer zones for biodiversity and working with living soil.

We open our doors to the public by organizing tours on the last Saturday of each month and welcoming wwoofers.
