SwissExtract (Double Green)

Our story began with a vision. We wanted to enter the BioSuisse-certified cannabis market. Quality, sustainability, traceability and Swissness were our watchwords from the outset. This is exactly what we lacked in all the hemp-based products already on the market.

We gave ourselves the direction to follow.
So our aim was to produce a raw material that promised safety and transparency. And we wanted to make CBD products that we could also give to our parents and grandparents without a guilty conscience. In 2016, we were ready and we got together to form the founding team, consisting of Dominic, Lucien, Manfred, Stevie as well as three other members, and set up our own company.

Just one year later, we grew the first BioSuisse-certified cannabis in a one-hectare greenhouse in Ried bei Kerzers. In 2018, the first CBD oil was launched on the Swiss market, the production of which already met BioSuisse's strict requirements.

Nothing can stop us.
Since then, we've gone from strength to strength. SuisseBioHemp AG became SwissExtract AG. We have increased our outdoor cultivation area by 15 ha and created new jobs in the region. We refined other products and launched a low-THC CBD oil in 2019. In addition, in 2020 we obtained permission from the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (SFOPH) to grow cannabis with a THC content of over 1% for research purposes.

That's how it goes on.
We are now well established in the market with our products, but we're not stopping there. We're working on new products, with other plant substances, but with the same high level of quality.
