Elican uses cutting-edge, solvent-free technology to separate cannabis trichomes before extraction. This results in a pure material, already concentrated at 60% in cannabinoids, and totally preserves the terpenes that make up the entourage effect, resulting in extracts of superior quality.

Since then, the legal context has been slowly evolving, European case law has highlighted the gap between France and Europe on the subject, and the industry is gradually coming into its own.

For Elican Biotech, producing a financially competitive alternative to opiates is the main challenge and the key to success for this nascent industry.
