Sensi Seeds

Sensi Seeds was one of the pioneers of the cannabis seed industry in 1985. Today, it is the world's largest cannabis seed bank, with over 500 strains. The genetics and brand name are true classics in the cannabis community. The Dutch government has chosen Sensi Seeds to develop medical cannabis supplied to pharmacies.

Sensi Seeds aims to normalize the use of cannabis and recognize the plant's therapeutic and industrial benefits. This led the company to open the world's first cannabis museum in 1985. The Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum is now present in Amsterdam and Barcelona, and has welcomed over two million visitors.

Together with the museum, Sensi Seeds regularly organizes the Cannabis Culture Awards. This award pays tribute to those who have taken a stand for the acceptance of cannabis in society. Winners include Sir Richard Branson and former Dutch Prime Minister Dries van Agt.

Sensi Seeds has worked with some of the world's most prominent campaigners over the years, such as Howard Marks and Jack Herer.

Sensi Seeds launched its sister company, HempFlax, in 1993. It developed new processing methods and equipment specifically designed for hemp cultivation. These innovations have since become the industry standard. They are now used by major agricultural and construction equipment manufacturers, including John Deere.

HempFlax products are widely used in the textile, food, construction and personal care industries. The automotive industry has also embraced hemp, including brands such as BMW, Mercedes and Bentley. Hemp is making a successful comeback, and HempFlax is leading the way.
