The Beemine Lab

The Beemine Lab was founded in September 2018 at the mouth of the River Duero when Telmo Güell, our founder, began studying the world of bees, their way of life, the different species and their hierarchy.

Fascinated by the great intelligence of species and their important contribution to plant pollination and biodiversity, he wanted to create a project that would be linked to traditional beekeeping.

After several unsuccessful attempts to find ways of connecting with consumers and making them see the problem of the bees' extinction risk, he realized a curious fact: bees are able to pollinate cannabis plants without being affected by its properties, since they have no the endocannabinoid system .

This fact is behind the powerful idea of blending the benefits of non-psychotropic cannabis extracts with the traditional remedies of honey, propolis and other beekeeping by-products. Always with the aim of creating products for the well-being and health of people and the environment.

Motivated by WHO studies on therapeutic cannabis, the booming CBD market and the green light for the use of cannabis in cosmetics, food and parapharmaceutical products in Germany, the USA and Canada, he founded The Beemine Lab.

All the people who made this project possible wanted to revolutionize skincare, protect biodiversity and shatter cannabis myths.
