Erba Bio is a Canapa Light farm born in the heart of the Roero, in the province of Cuneo - Piedmont.<\/p>\n
We cultivate exclusively in open field, strictly with the hand, of the female inflorescences of Cannabis Sativa L., resulting from the floriculture registered in the common catalog of the varieties of the agricultural vegetable species, in application of the article 17 of the directive 2002\/53\/CE.<\/p>\n
We are the first company in this wonderful region to return to growing hemp inflorescences in the field.<\/p>\n
We wanted to strongly revalue some lands until then uncultivated in Roero (Piedmont), with the return to hemp.<\/p>\n
We only follow the times and rhythms of nature. Our crops are grown by hand, through the construction of pallets and paciamatura with the mowing of freshly cut fields.<\/p>\n
Almost a ritual and a return to the times and methods that today's industry has eliminated, sacrificing quality and respect for the environment in favor of quantity and reduced production times.<\/p>\n
Our inflorescences are rooted in the sandy soil of the Roero, which has proven to be perfect for the cultivation of hemp. In full respect of the seasonality and the rest of the land.<\/p>\n
In fact, unlike indoor cultivation, with plants in pots, rich in fertilizers and cultivated in a continuous cycle, 12 months out of 12, 24 hours out of 24, with great use of electricity, lamps and cooling systems, ErbaBio's plants live in the open air, in the field, with only one production harvest per year: we follow only the time of nature and not the time of man.<\/p>\n
This strongly desired choice, which is the basis of the ErbaBio philosophy, produces a smaller quantity of product with a low continuity of flowers during the year (when they are finished, you just have to wait for the new harvest the following year), but in terms of quality, our inflorescences are unequalled among those on the market.<\/p>\n
Moreover, not only do our plants not produce CO2 due to the general use of lamps, lighting and ventilation systems in indoor cultivation, but they also exchange the C02 present in the air, which is fixed in the fiber, into valuable oxygen for everyone.<\/p>\n
