The Canapaie

Our farm was established in Nocera Umbra in 2015 and specializes in growing hemp sativa L. from flowers and seeds, as well as processing and selling hemp-based food products.

Our Apennine territory has enabled us to experiment with cultivation at different altitudes and exposures, allowing us to refine a method of production, treatment and processing of the plant and thus its production chain: from sowing to finished product.

It's from the flower, whose botanical characteristics are very similar to those of hops, that we obtain the incomparable aroma of our hemp flower farmhouse beer. The flowers are selected and picked by hand, cleaned with special machines and dried naturally.

From the seed, which is the fruit of the plant, through a slow cold milling process, we obtain oil and flour, the characteristic ingredient of our artisanal pasta created from a blend of hemp and durum wheat flour.

The plants from which our flowers and seeds are harvested are grown naturally and sustainably, fertilized with organic substances of exclusively plant origin.
Our production chain is organized in close relation to seasonal cycles, and each phase, from sowing to harvesting the raw materials to processing the products, is carried out with full respect for man, the earth and the consumer who chooses our products.
